THE following Lectures on the subject of Socialism, were delivered in the Mechanics' Institution, Southamptonbuildings, during the months of January and February, 1840. The Lecture "On the true State of Human Nature" is not published, a part of it having been delivered extempore. The Lecturer not being able to recover satisfactorily, what he said, declines its publication.

The following is the order of their arrangement:
